FAQ

Who else works at TracFlo? Khalid David, Jake Snyder, Anjaneya Naik along with a few friends who contract part-time across design & engineering.

Where is TracFlo located? Main Office: 335 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10015 with a secondary office in Chicago.

Are you okay with remote employment? Yes but only in the U.S. & Canada at this time due to timezone convenience.

Have you raised any money? Yes - happy to answer any questions.

How will TracFlo make money? For subcontractors, we charge based on the number of projects. For general contractors, we charge based on the project size.

How does this product technically work? In the field, users use the mobile app to describe out-of-scope time and material costs using a form, text, and photos. The description of work is sent for approval, and then tracked through the revision and/or payment process.

Are you open to bringing on interns? Not at this moment—unfortunately, we don’t have the bandwidth necessary to offer a stellar internship program. We need to invest every ounce of energy into a couple of important milestones first.

What’s the interview process like? We’ll likely do a quick 45-minute phone call just to make sure we’re on the same page. After that, we’d love to chat with you in person & work on a process together.

Generally, there are two options:

1. Our preferred situation is that we get to work together for several weeks on a project (of course, we’d pay you whatever you think is fair).
2. Often working together for a bit is a great way to determine whether there’s a good match as future teammates and it can give you a lot of transparency. We understand, however, that’s not always possible for everyone. (2-4 weeks)
3. A formal but practical interview—no trick/puzzle questions. (3-4 hours) Maybe there’s a third option we haven’t thought of—we’re open-minded...
