About Us:

We believe that renting an apartment shouldn't be a month long affair involving tracking down a local cosigner, pre-paying thousands of dollars in rent and forking over hefty deposits.

That's why we created ViveFácil; a FinTech platform that enables renters in Latin America to replace their cosigner and deposit with an affordable insurance solution, and for landlords to advance up to a full years worth of rent at the touch of a button.

We're building technologies that make real estate transactions in Latin America radically more affordable, efficient and safe. We've launched our pilot in CDMX and have received an outpouring of positive feedback from our customers and are rapidly scaling throughout the country.

What you’ll do:

● Own the product roadmap and lead the technical strategy of our organization.

● Work with business teams to define, capture, and use real-time event data to derive business insights and create product features.

● Oversee and guide the engineering team in analyzing requirements, building, and deploying software.

● Design and deploy database framework including front end components, databases & API's.

What An Ideal Candidate Brings to the Table:

● Ability to write HTML, CSS, Python and JavaScript fluently. Being up on latest practices is a must, e.g., Web3, HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 7.

● Experience working at a high growth venture backed startup, FANG or notable silicon valley team.

● Graduate level Engineering/Computer Science/Data Science degree from a top technical university, or comparable professional experience.

● Database design and management, including being up on the latest practices and associated versions of MongoDB & various AWS systems.

● Fluency with a relevant, globally supported frameworks—both front-end and back-end, e.g., React, Node, Vue, Angular, etc.

● Familiarity with CSS preprocessors, bundlers, and associated languages/syntaxes/libraries, e.g., Sass, Less, and Webpack.

● Willingness to engage with business teams to build a comprehensive understanding of user experience and product purpose.

● Appreciation for clean and well documented code.

● You're not afraid of wearing many hats. We're a young startup and you'll have plenty of opportunities to show you're cut out for the top.
